A Poem for Friday: Levels

I’ve been quiet for a while celebrating birthdays, entertaining visiting kids and grandkids from the west coast, basically enjoying life and reading a lot of good books. Just for grins here is my summer reading list:

“You are the Placebo, making your mind matter” by Dr. Joe Dispenza
“The Cosmic Hologram, In-formation at the Center of Creation” by Jude Currivan, Ph.D.
“Democracy in Chains, The Deep History of the Radical Right’s Stealth Plan for America” by Nancy MacLean
“Custodians, Beyond Abduction” by Dolores Cannon

So, to a degree, I have been steeped in this mysterious world of Quantum Physics and the weird notions some would consider beyond belief. It’s a fun world, and nice to escape into; meditating on emptiness is a much better place to be than the crazy, uncertain political world in which we find ourselves this week!

Levels

At the quantum level
There is nothing,
Then there is something,
Then nothing, emptiness:
Reality Flashing in and out,
There then not.

At the atomic level
There is probability:
Matter is probably there;
We can see it, touch it,
Smell, taste, hear it.
Observation pins it.

At the DNA level
Quanta and atoms form
Base-pairs, form strands,
Double helix twists that
Probably exist to perform
Their replicating functions.

At the cellular level
DNA housed in chromosomes
Spin off proteins in hundreds
Of thousands of transactions
Per second, sustaining life,
Fitting neatly into the body matrix.

At the body level
The matrix of cells
Live, breathe, beat, die
On an unimaginable scale
Of numbers and transactions
Numbing the mind to unconsciousness.

At the consciousness level
We can imagine all these levels
Humming, spinning, winking
In and out of existence, all
Across the Universe in no
Space-Time, sustained only by love!
