Respect

I see you.
Yes, I really see you.
I look; and I look again.
This is respect.

I turn a cheek.
I turn the other cheek.
Jesus taught about Other.
He showed respect.

I look into your eyes.
I gaze deeply in your eyes.
I see you, really see you;
And you reflect.

I see you
And you see me.
I see respect and you
Reflect the respect I see.
