| Happy New Moon in Virgo! |

 Big day in the heavens yesterday! The New Moon happened on September 13, early in the morning (2:41am Eastern Daylight Time) and the lineup of the Earth, Moon and Sun gave us a partial Solar Eclipse (sadly, not visible in the US). New Moons are the beginning of the Moon cycles and encourage us to focus on the ‘new.’ Solar Eclipses magnify this energy of ‘new’ and encourage us to evolve.
This eclipse is ‘facilitating a reconfiguration and rebooting of consciousness.’ (The Mountain Astrologer magazine) That is potent energy! Have you been feeling it? I have been in this shake-up since the last Full Moon! My personal experience of this ‘rebooting’ is that I have fully embraced the Universe as an abundant place to live. I focus on abundance, in all areas. And the generosity of the Universe is astounding me! I keep winning things that I need – including a distant healing session for our dog, Tara! (or did Tara manifest that one? Hmmm…) Pay attention to the Exploration article in this newsletter (link). Notice where your thoughts are taking you. You are in manifesting mode whether or not you are conscious and intentional or you are disbelieving in this manifestation stuff. Doesn’t it make sense to go ahead and think about what you want instead of what you don’t want, just in case those of us who have figured this out are right? With the New Moon and the Solar Eclipse energy around, there is potent energy to help you manifest something new in your life. And the energy of an eclipse stays effecting us for the next 6 months! We are also coming up on the next Mercury retrograde, when that planet appears to move backward in the sky. Some people groan when they hear this, others get huge bursts of creativity. Just be sure to be careful, read before signing, be patient with communication snafus September 17 – October 9. The Sun is finishing up its annual tour in Virgo and enters the sign of Libra on September 23, which is also the Autumnal Equinox. ‘Balance’ is the keyword here. Use the time before the Equinox to find Balance in the flow of your life. On that day with equal daylight and darkness, look at your life and decide how to live in balance so that you can ‘go with the flow.’ We’re really busy around here with Fall activities. | Today’s NASA/ESA image, dated August 27, 2015, is The Hubble Space Telescope team’s updated image of the dying binary star system (the last shot was from 1997). It is the Twin Jet Nebula named for the twin jets of ejecting gas unfurling like the iridescent wings of a butterfly. The seemingly magical effect stems from the stars’ unusual interaction with each other — while only one star is ejecting its outer layers, the other (an already-shrunken white dwarf) is pulling those layers in opposite directions. There is so much magic in the Universe!

| This Full Moon is the first of 3 Super Moons in a row. Because the Moon is at its closest to the Earth we experience a bigger impact of Moon energy on Planet Earth. As the tides are being affected, so are the waters in our bodies. The tectonic plates of the Earth feel the strong pulls – watch for earthquakes and volcano eruptions. This energy has an impact on humans, too.
Saturday’s Full Moon happened at 2:37pm Eastern Daylight Time. The Full Moon is a time when the Sun, in the sign of Virgo, is opposite to the Moon, in the sign of Pisces. This is the time to release what doesn’t serve you – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. De-clutter. Clear negative emotions, mental blocks, and limiting beliefs. Let go and surrender to your Big Dream. A lot of people have been talking about feeling the shifting forces, about being unsettled or feeling as if something is going on. Empaths and extremely sensitive people are being shaken up a bit (a ‘humanquake’?). We also have some interesting planetary happenings that can invite us to expand our vision and to be creative.Jupiter and Neptune are dancing together opposite each other and, according to The Mountain Astrologer, “When channeled into spiritual practice, humanitarian work, pilgrimage, healing or creative activities, the combined energy of these planets can be highly inspirational and transformative during the peak of this Full Moon and through mid-September.” What steps will you take to manifest your Dream during this transformative time? ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Learn Something New Today!
Where do you go for information? Or are you not curious about learning something new?
I sometimes lament the fact that I don’t have enough life left in which to learn and to master all that I want to learn and master. So many books to read! (My preferred way to learn and explore) There are classes to take, webinars to join, documentaries to watch, people to meet and talk with, topics to research.
And where can I get information that I trust?
I have discovered that there is a lot of wisdom to be gained through meditation. My guides give me lots of answers. They also lead me to sources where answers can be found. I trust their guidance.
Trust is key. Do you trust your sources? Do you trust your inner guidance? Or do you place your trust in one source other than yourself and choose not to do further research on your own?
There is nothing wrong with having a trusted source of information. I wouldn’t be teaching classes, whether on dowsing or hypnosis or essential oils, if I didn’t believe in what I am sharing. And, yet, I invite students to explore topics on their own. Do research. Compare different sources. Read a bunch of books on a topic. Talk to people you trust about their views/experiences/knowledge.
And check inside to see how you feel about what you are encountering. Does it resonate for you? Another person’s truth may not be truth for you.
This is especially true in the realm of spirituality. What someone else believes may be truth for them at that moment but it might not fit for you. Have you changed your beliefs in your lifetime?
Of course you have! Didn’t you, at one time, think the Tooth Fairy came and exchanged money for a tooth under your pillow? And didn’t Santa Claus bring your toys at Christmas?
What about that belief that you couldn’t do something? Until you tried it and succeeded?
And how about that belief that ‘nobody likes me’ that we all felt at some point, as a child or even in adulthood. Well, I like you now!
What we believe can change. What we know today can be modified with the next moment’s input.
You are never too old to learn something new – about life, about the world, about yourself. Are you exploring? Are you curious? Are you asking questions?
When I worked on the Hubble Space Telescope we had to be open to what was revealed to us. Many theories were confirmed. Others were contradicted. We continue to learn about the Cosmos from the discoveries that our space exploration is bringing to us.
NASA has just released pictures of Pluto from close up, after almost a decade of traveling to get those pictures. What will be revealed? How exciting it is that something new is coming to us to learn!
In personal life, what we don’t know we don’t know can trip us up! If you think you know everything you need to know, you will stop growing, stop evolving. Keep asking questions. Keep exploring yourself and the world around you.

How exciting that we are getting pictures of Pluto from close up? Wow! As we learned with the Hubble Space Telescope, what we can see from Earth can be distorted by the atmosphere. But having a spacecraft camera travel that far to take a close up shot is very exciting. What will we learn?
Yesterday’s New Moon in Cancer happened at 9:26 pm Eastern Daylight Time. This means that the Sun and Moon are together in the sign of Cancer and the Earth’s shadow covers the Moon so that it does not reflect Sun’s light. The Dark of the Moon is a special time of potency. We, on Earth, are receiving pure Moon energy – feminine, nurturing, emotional.
We are invited to ask ourselves ‘What feeds my soul?’ Look at your values and how they are being demonstrated by how you spend your time. Do you need to do some adjusting in your priorities, in your schedule?
In addition, Mercury, Mars, Uranus and Pluto are playing together in the second half of July to give us a chance to make the visions of the 60s about peace, equality and the environment become grounded in the 21st Century. What can you do?
Remember that the New Moon is the time to invite something NEW into your life. What are you ready to welcome? Maybe it’s time to get rid of limiting beliefs and think new thoughts. This is a special month for our family! We have two grandchildren having birthdays, Makayla (18) and Tristan (1). What a joy grandchildren are! And we get to celebrate with both of them! ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Evolve Your Consciousness and Lift Others Up
The consciousness of humankind is dependent upon the evolutionary progress of the majority of the humans on Earth at any given time. Highly evolved individuals can lift the consciousness of many others but the others must choose to be lifted up.
Those who choose not to evolve can often influence many others by weighing down the thinking of the group in which they find themselves.
Each individual has a responsibility for the consciousness level of every group in which they participate. Social, work, family, spiritual, religious. It is not possible to participate in a group without affecting or being affected by the consciousness level of that group.
For example, one cannot sit idly by while someone in a group speaks disparagingly about others without being dragged down to the dense vibration of that thought. Similarly, one cannot help but be lifted up when someone of higher consciousness speaks in or to a group.
If you are the one speaking, you can lift up a group or you can bring it down with your words and the thoughts you convey.
If you think that you can be a silent bystander in a group, then you are mistaken. If you sit quietly in a group that spouts thoughts of hatred you have 2 choices – you can speak up against that hatred and risk all that goes with speaking out or you can leave the group. Sitting silently implies agreement and brings you to the level of consciousness associated with hatred.
You are always at choice. Do you think that you can be associated with a group and not participate in the ideas that group espouses? You have just given away your power.
Pay attention to the ideas expressed within any group you choose to join. Pay attention to the ideas expressed within your family. Make your position known and invite others to be uplifted. Avoid discussions of hatred and negative speaking about others. Refuse to be engaged in arguments of topics that are low vibration.
Your mother said, “Tell me who you go with and I’ll tell you what you are.” This is true. With whom do you choose to spend your time? If they do not represent who you are becoming then it may be time to step away.
Take charge of your vibrations. Keep lifting yourself up to higher consciousness. Refuse to allow others to drag you down.
