ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Evolve Your Light
When you became a human being, when you took your first breath of Mother Earth’s atmosphere, you began a journey of evolution. The journey of a lifetime is the evolution of your consciousness, from the moment you are born until the moment you take that last breath of air. At every moment in your life you are growing in your awareness of the world around you.
The question today is, ‘Are you evolving or are you attempting to stay where you are?’
So many people are struggling in this world because they are focused on using the tools they already have, on following the thoughts and beliefs from earlier days, on listening to what someone else is saying is true instead of going inside to seek their own truth. The shift that is needed is a shift in consciousness, an evolutionary approach to solving problems and to living life.
You were born as a bright light on the horizon of humanity. Everyone around you was waiting for you to come into the world. Even if you have a belief that you were unwanted, know that the souls around you then and now asked for you to arrive when and where and to whom you did.
Now, at whatever your current age is, those souls are looking to you for your light to shine on the path that you are sharing. How do you shine your light? By living your soul’s purpose, by being the light that you already are.
I see too many people choosing to hide. It appears to be so much easier to shrink from the spotlight and to stay on the sidelines of life. I don’t just mean refusing to get on the stage – I mean shrinking back from the enormity of what you feel is your raison d’etre, your reason for being here, your soul purpose.
It can feel like a tremendous burden or too huge a task to fulfill that purpose. Good. That means that you have tapped into what you are really here to be and to do!
No matter what form your life is taking at this moment, you are here to be the Light in the life of those around you. Lead by lighting the way for them to follow. Show by your example that you are willing to live your purpose and to be a Light in the world.
You don’t have to be famous, or on the stage, or find medical cures or solve world hunger, although you might. You DO, however, have a responsibility to the world to be the brightest light that you are able to be, right now, today, in whatever circumstances you face.
YOU are in charge of the development and evolution of your own consciousness. No one around you can do it for you. You were not born to find answers and then stagnate. You are here to learn the next thing, to study, to grow, to evolve.
How are you doing this?
This is where hiding does not serve you or the evolution of human consciousness. Reach out to learn what you can, to connect with others who are also on the path of the evolution of consciousness. Shine your light for them and allow them to shine their lights for you.
Take a class. Read a book. Join a group. Have a conversation.
It is especially important that you do your personal growth work. Clear negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that are holding you and your light hostage to them. Explore possibilities that will take you outside your comfort zone.
Evolve and shine the bright light that you are!

NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS I CHING GUA: SHI-MULTITUDE
The New Moon in Sagittarius appeared on Saturday morning, November 22, 2014 at 7:32 AM EST. That morning, shortly after the Moon was exactly conjunct with the Sun and newly in the sign of Sagittarius, I sat with my yarrow stalks and cast an I Ching Gua (a six line hexagram) to determine the energies for the coming month. And the result is an interesting one that I’ve been giving a lot of thought to.
It’s pictured here: only one Yang line at the 2nd position. All the rest are Yin lines. And there are no changing lines; this is a stable, some might say “stagnant” energy for the month.
My primary source for interpreting my I Ching practice is Taoist Master Alfred Huang’s The Complete I Ching. While most English translations of the Shi is “Army” Master Huang goes back to the older meaning, “Multitude.” In ancient China there were no standing armies. If there was a need for an army – only two reasons required one: defense against invasion and to overthrow a tyrant – military units were assembled from among the peasants who had some training in military action while they were idle during inactive farming seasons. I too prefer the older interpretation of the word and this Gua.
For me this hexagram represents a community. Rosemary and I both have been writing and thinking a lot about community, how important it is for human evolution. Humans are social beings. We have survived and evolved through gathering together in groups of mutual support and aid. In our modern world we seem to have lost this concept. We have turned to a “dog-eat-dog” world of competition, everyone for themselves, “whoever dies with the most wins.” We also seem to have lost any recognition or respect for leadership. With the “me first” attitude so prevalent there is no trust of anyone who might propose a movement toward progress.
This Gua, Multitude, speaks to this modern social dilemma. Note the second line is the only solid, Yang, or strong line in the hexagram. The Yin lines seem to pivot about this second line, the leader of the multitude. “He” derives his authority from the Yin line at the fifth position, a line representing feminine energy. There is excellent balance between masculine and feminine power in this Gua and the other Yin lines represent the community.
It is time for all of us to find our communities. If we are not in community we can either find one to join or build one. There is stability in this Gua, no changing lines, to emphasize this message. The key meaning is in Confucius’ Commentary on the Decision:
Shi is a multitude.
Persistence is for righteousness.
One who is able to lead the multitude
To persist for righteousness
Is able to bring peace to the world.
Firm and central,
He obtains a response.
Taking the risk of dangerous action,
He confronts no hindrance.
Relying on this,
He maintains public order,
And people follow him.
Good fortune.
What mistake should there be?
This month I also want to offer the Mutual Gua to shed more light on this energy of “Multitude.” This Gua is formed by taking the inner lines to form a new one: the second through fourth lines form the bottom trigram and the third through the fifth lines form the top trigram. This yields Fu which means “Turning Back.”
Master Huang says we should always look at the Mutual Gua: “The hidden meaning of any Gua lies in it’s mutual Gua; it should not be ignored.”
Turning back means to return to the beginning; to repeat a cycle. The Gua is said to represent the eleventh month in the Chinese Lunar calendar and the bottom Yang line can represent the Winter Solstice and return of the Sun. The Decision for this Gua says it all:
Turning back.
Prosperous and smooth.
Going out and coming in.
No harm.
Friends arrive.
No fault.
The Tao of falling away and turning back,
In seven days comes the return.
Favorable to have somewhere to go.
We look now toward Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Enjoy community. Find community. Build community. Thrive and evolve. The energies of this time support you!

FRIDAY’S POEM FROM RHYTHMS AND CYCLES: Phoenix Moon
As I write the Old Moon has another day of life. We are about to enter another cycle of the Moon’s appearance to us as she orbits our world and the Sun. The Moon is exactly conjunct the Sun tomorrow, Saturday, November 22 at 7:32 am EST. And then we have a New Moon and the cycle repeats.
I don’t know if you feel the energy of the Moon as she goes through her cycle each month. I sure do. And I celebrate this cycle and all of her phases to honor her, life and the rhythms we all experience. I have written many poems to the Moon. Today’s is a new one for you to tap and experience.
Phoenix Moon
Bright day, heavy energy
As the Moon races, just ahead,
The Sun eating the distance
With every pulse between them.
The beat is felt if not heard –
The heavy sound too low
To press on human drum.
The closing gap pinches
The visible sliver of Grandmother
To nothing in the distant East.
Early morning darkness deepens
With her loss of limb.
Old Grandmother Moon again
Loses her race with her Son.
He dismembers and burns her
In his brightness, his sizzle.
But wait! In three days passing
She reappears on the other
Side of the world – resurrected!

Keep it Simple – Richard’s Commentary
I was finishing up the week’s laundry just now and found a single tiny gray sock in the dryer. Tristan was reaching out to say “hi” to me! Yes, Tristan and his parents are back in LA after a wonderful weeklong visit with us here on the east coast. But he is still here too, his little fingers wrapped tightly in our heartstrings!
As grandparents it is certainly easy, very simple, to be in love with a three-month old grandson. For the week he was here he was the priority. Our world revolved around him and the to-do lists were forgotten.
What if every week was like this? Why can’t they be?
This is the point of Rosemary’s message – they can be! It is a matter of choice.
Here’s her key point:
Let LOVE drive your to-do list. Focus on what is important to your soul, to your purpose, to your heart. Don’t wait for an emergency to arrive to show you where your priorities lie. Make a conscious choice that you will focus on what really matters and put LOVE at the top of the list.
Last week with Tristan here, love dictated our to-do lists. Today he “dropped his sock” in my life to remind me how well last week flowed. Oh, we got everything done: we had a good time with the visitors, got the Friday MuseLetter out on time, threw a birthday party for our daughter-in-law Friday evening. And our son when leaving for the airport said he checked off everything on his list he wanted to do during the visit!
Yes, it is easy to love a grandchild, to put them first on the list and make choices that are always in their best interest. This approach can be applied to everything in life with a bit of focus.
Can we make our to-do lists while focusing on love? That is not always easy. There are things that we “should” do, even “must” do that are difficult to love. I don’t love taking the garbage and recycling out to the curb every Sunday night. But I do find myself shifting my thoughts to keeping the house clear and smelling good for my family; chore turns to act of love in a small way. Who loves filing their taxes every year? But I do shift my attention to this chore as part of running our shared business, which I do love.
Shift the focus, change the intention, look to the deeper purpose in each task on the to-do list and find a way to love it. This is the heart of Rosemary’s message.
Keep it simple. Choose LOVE. Focus on what really matters and it becomes very simple to choose.
And I would add: find something to love in the chores that must be done.
It is that simple!

MONDAY’S POEM: Echoes 3
It’s a dreary Monday here in the Middle Atlantic region, heavy with rain. I found a heavy poem from a series I had written on time (last Monday’s was the first in that series) and how it might operate extra-dimensionally rather than linearly. It is so easy for us in the west to think of time as a unidirectional vector: past as tail, present as shaft, future as arrow point shooting out in a single direction. But what if time is more like a bubble, sometimes expanding, sometimes contracting; what if?
Echoes 3
Echoes need emptiness.
The reverberations of time
Bounce within the hollow bubble
Of now.
Write for the future.
They need your poetry
Out there for some distant when
To exist.
There is no now,
Only the echoes of yesterday
When the world was made new
For all.
Write for the past.
There is no then without these words
Remembering those who remember
For us.

FRIDAY’S POEM FROM RHYTHMS AND CYCLES: A Poem for Tristan
Tristan is on my mind because he is here in Maryland with us! He (and his parents) are visiting from LA. The cycle of life is in my face. So, I am reprising the poem from the day after his birth. He is now three and a half months old!
A Poem for Tristan
I hold my breath
Waiting to hear in the silence
That first ring of life-news.
Is he here? Is he breathing?
Has our new grandchild
Joined us on the Mother’s surface
Breathing the Mother’s air?
And I wait.
I glance at my phone for signs.
I see only a dark face;
Cold technology waiting
for some signal to let us know
All is well.
The phone remains inert,
Resting in that space of silence
Between breaths, between updates.
I take a breath.
Does baby take a breath?
I take a baby-breath
As baby takes his first breaths.
“Can I make my breath
As soft as a baby’s?”
Can baby breathe a healthy
Breath of air – and spirit?
Yes, I believe he can!
Then all comes to life
As we learn the joyous news
That all is well and he is here.
He may be early, anxious for
Sun, Moon, Stars to be just right.
He may be small, for now;
He grows into his big name!

Remember The Law of Remembering – Richard’s Commentary
The Mystic Message published by Rosemary and posted by me yesterday was a powerful one, as we might expect from The Sirius Mystery Temple Teachers. This “Law” can be applied to everything, from the three-dimensional fragment of the Universe we think we live in, to our expanded and expanding Consciousness, our “memory” of who we really are!
Here’s the crux of the teaching:
…remember that you are One with the Universe and that all that exists, exists in you. All dimensions are within your Consciousness. All that you seek is already existing within you.
THIS is The Law of Remembering.
And:
Consciousness is the essence energy of the Universe. The attracting force that brings together parts of Potential Energy with other parts is called ‘LOVE Energy.’ It is not that the attraction is the result of a wish to fill a void. It is, rather, that the Potential Energy is so full of LOVE that it wishes to express as Manifest Energy and it, therefore, creates Manifestation Energy to do so.
This is not a simplified view of the “reality” of this Universe we occupy! But it is a real view, or as “real” as we can get with our still very limited understanding of the deep physics behind the “reality.”
For an excellent presentation of this very subject go see “Interstellar” – the movie that was just released last week. Rosemary channeled the message from The Sirius Mystery Temple Teachers the middle of last week. We published the blog post on Friday morning, November 7. We went to see the movie yesterday, November 10 at a local theater and we were blown away!
“Interstellar” is a dystopian tale of an environmental disaster that is destroying humanity through the destruction of the food chain. A small, secret group of NASA “refugees” are working on a way to save at least a remnant of humanity by going off-world. The beauty of the movie is the science behind it. It is as much up-to-date as any movie in my recent memory, includes excellent teachings in relativity, quantum mechanics, time-bending and what might be possible in space-warped interstellar travel!
But here’s the kicker: everything presented in the movie was extraordinarily in-line with Rosemary’s channeled message! We were both in awe as we watched the unfolding drama. And the movie is so well done, from cinematography to special effect to the sound track to the science.
AND, they addressed LOVE as a force intricately involved in the creation and evolution of the Universe!

ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Remember The Law of Remembering
I recently channeled a message from The Sirius Mystery Temple Teachers who frequently teach me about the Cosmos and the Dimensions. This message is very powerful as we work to understand our place in the Cosmos, our Potential and the Possibilities waiting to manifest.
From The Sirius Mystery Temple Teachers:
“Let us show you what manifestation truly is.
There are many who speak of The Law of Attraction but that is not what they are really teaching. They are teaching The Law of Reaching For, or The Law of Not Having.
We would have you consider living by The Law of Finding/of Having/of Knowing of the Existence of That Which You Seek.
When you seek something to attract, you energetically set up a void that is waiting to be filled. You must first consider what you don’t have and want before you can start operating The Law of Attraction. This sends out a vibration of emptiness and lack.
Instead, remember that you are One with the Universe and that all that exists exists in you. All dimensions are within your Consciousness. All that you seek is already existing within you.
THIS is The Law of Remembering.
The entire Universe existed in the moment of the Big Bang. Potential Energy transmuted into Manifestation Energy into Manifest Energy. EVERYTHING that was, is, or will be already exists in one of these forms of energy, including you.
Consciousness is the essence energy of the Universe. If you feel a sense of Lack in your life it is because you have forgotten your place in the Universe AS the Universe. You have, temporarily, believed the lie that you can be a separate consciousness within the Dimension of Consciousness, which is the entire Universe.
You are simultaneously existing in the Space-Time Continuum of dimensions and BEING all dimensions. You are aware of a tiny portion of Manifest Energy and, yet, you are also ALL of Manifest Energy.
There is no work for you to do to attract that which you believe that you lack. You must remember WHO YOU ARE so that you can expand your awareness to encompass that which you believe you lack.
Remember, everything that ever was, is or will be already exists in the Universe. All the energy of the Universe is expanding energy. If you feel yourself contracting then you are spending your Life Energy fighting against the expansive energy that is the Universe that you are.
Relax into Expansion.
Remember that you ARE the Universe.
Remember to Remember.
It Is So.”
