ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Dream-Makers or Dream-Takers?

June 25, 2014 Leave a comment

We all have dreams, visions, plans, goals. Some of them we voice to others and some we keep close to our hearts without sharing, but we all have them.

Have you ever shared a dream with someone and then felt as if all the air was sucked out of you when they reacted with a comment like, ‘You can’t do that!’ or ‘That’s impossible!’? We shut down and believe that they know something true about our dream and we move away from it.

Or sometimes we get rebellious and think, ‘I’ll show you! I’ll make it happen.’ And we get caught up in showing them and lose the ‘juice’ of doing it for ourselves.

Think of a dream that you have, maybe even something that might seem impossible but that feels like a dream, a vision of you that you are seeking. Really feel it in your body, in your energy field. Feel how it will feel when it becomes a reality. Ramp up the feeling and smile. It feels so good.

Now remember that feeling and invite anyone with whom you share that dream to share in that feeling. Don’t let anyone deflate you! Don’t let anyone try to steal your dream or say that you can’t do that. Don’t let anyone try to take your dream away from you.

There will be people who want to be your champions, your cheerleaders and who want to help you make your dreams come true. There are others who, for whatever reason, don’t want that. Choose consciously those you allow to surround you. Dream-Makers or Dream-Takers?

This is not about judging others and deeming them lacking or bad. This is about YOU and your choices in life. YOU choose the folks you spend your time and energy inviting into your energy field. YOU choose what you share and what you keep inside. Choose to be with the people who support you, no matter what. Choose to surround yourself with people who will challenge you to grow into the big vision that you have for yourself and your life. Choose to let the others live their lives without trying to influence yours.

The Dream-Takers are probably not being malicious or mean. They are just stuck in their own ‘stuff’ and can’t accept that you choose to dream big, to reach for something beyond what they can see. Their choices aren’t yours. And they are probably operating out of a fear that they then try to project onto you.

Stay courageous. Move in the direction of your dreams, no matter what. If you look around you now and can’t find friends to support you, seek out new friends. Find those who uplift others and hang out with them. Speak to loved ones and share that you want their support as you go ahead to pursue your dreams.

Own your vision. It comes from connecting to your Purpose, to your Soul Mission on Earth. Continue to Dream Big and the support you desire will show up. Stay committed no matter what or who around you tries to take that dream away.

Surround yourself with Dream-Makers! And be one yourself!

ROSEMARY’S INSPIRATION: Who are the Dream-Makers in Your Life?

Rosemary’s “Two-Minute” Video for this Week: Who are the Dream-Makers in Your Life?

March 19, 2014 Leave a comment

A message from The Divine Feminine for Springtime:

“Dear Ones,

Where is your heart this Spring? Are you ready to move into a new way of being present in the world?

For your younger years you had easy access to how you were feeling. You learned, somewhere along the way, to hold in, repress, hide the fullness of your emotions so that you could get along in your world. Now, no matter what stage of life you are experiencing, you must reach into your heart and learn again to access how you feel.

The world of 21st Century Earth is as it has never been before in history. Human beings are connected with an immediacy that was never envisioned in the not too distant past. The ability to communicate across boundaries has never been easier or more instantaneously achieved. What does this mean to you as an evolving human being?

You are being called to bring your heart, your feelings, your emotions into your daily interactions because it is through your heart that you can access your intuition. By allowing yourself to ‘feel your answers’ you can better interact with other people from a place of heart-felt love.

We are not talking about romantic relationships alone here, but also about business and family and friendship interactions. When you approach every activity in your day from a place of love you imbue that activity with Light, a vibration, that lifts the interaction into a more meaningful plane. You elevate a business conversation when, instead of coming from a place of worry or fear or competition, you come from a place of love, love for the activity, the people, the service, and, most importantly, for yourself. When you decide to follow your heart, follow your intuition, you connect at a very deep level with the guidance available in your innerspace, your inner wisdom. And when you bring that wisdom out into your daily life, you en-lighten the situations in which you participate.

Spring is a time to move forward in your personal growth. It is a time to grow beyond the beliefs that you embraced as a child, feeling all of your emotions but without the wisdom to learn alternatives for actions. You had less control over your life so you made decisions that came from the perspective of a child. Are you aware that those decisions, those beliefs, are embedded in your unconscious mind today and may actually be guiding your choices from an unconscious place?

You CAN access these old beliefs and move them along. You CAN embrace new ways of being in the world, not based on decisions that you made as a child in a child’s world. You have the power to write a new story starting with this Springtime energy.

Doing the work of your personal growth will protect you from expressing immature feelings in those immediate communications. Give yourself permission to make a quantum leap in your life. Reach into your heart for your inner wisdom. Clear the blocks to manifesting your Purpose in the world.

Be the evolutionary human being that you were born to be. Make the leap.”

Step Into Your Bodacious Dream! – Richard’s Commentary

March 13, 2014 Leave a comment

How big are your dreams? Would you call them, even one of them, “bodacious”?

One way to get at this question is to look back over your life and take a look at former dreams and how they turned out. In her article yesterday, Rosemary gives us a good example of this with her dream to be part of NASA and then making it to that dream job working on the fantastic science produced by the Hubble Space Telescope. She dreamed big and her dream came true.

And also notice that once that dream was reached Rosemary dreamed another dream.

There is no end to the dreaming. Each dream we activate and reach takes us to a higher level where the dreaming can become even more bodacious. We all are being called to step up! Here’s how Rosemary puts that:

This is a time for each individual to show up for their Soul Purpose and LIVE BIG! The Planet and the rest of us need for you to show up in your Purpose. Even if it is scary, Dream Big.

Step up, step out and move into flow with the you the Universe has called to. Again, Rosemary used her story as an example. From the Hubble project she responded to the call to be a “spiritual healer.” At the time she wasn’t even sure what that meant! But she did feel that the Universe was calling for her to step up. And she did. It was not easy. It was scary at times! (Scary for both of us, in fact!) But there is no looking back; and there is no questioning – not for the bodacious dreams!

Examine your life. Look back on the dreams accomplished. Feel good about your progress, but not complacent. Are you living your purpose?

I recently had a scan done for me by a medical intuitive. I got some really mixed results! The bad news is I am dealing with some pretty serious internal inflammation in my body. The good news is I can treat this with diet (more on that in a moment). The best news is I scored really well in the “Life in Balance and Coherence” categories (10/10 and 100%!). What she said about this is: “you are in alignment with ‘God’s Will’ – you are on your true spiritual path. This is rare.”

Wow! I’m still digesting this result. Of course I have to make major adjustments to my diet, eating more like a “cave man.” I have to reduce my food intake to pretty much an animal protein-based plan with some vegetables allowed. And here I’ve been working strongly toward a vegetarian diet! So much for that dream!

But on those Balance and Coherence measures here’s what I think she is picking up: I do have a bodacious dream, as I’ve mentioned before in these posts, to go to Ladakh, India for the Kalachakra Initiation offered by His Holiness The Dalai Lama this year. And I am working diligently on this dream at many levels. I feel very good about this, that it is in alignment with my spiritual path and congruent with my purpose. I am very pleased that it is “out there” to be recognized!

So here’s the other thing about those bodacious dreams: they need to be declared! And then the Universe responds by saying “yes, and now we will make everything align to support your dream!”

Dreams don’t come from nothing. And they definitely aren’t fulfilled without effort. As Rosemary concludes: when you have created your Bodacious Big Dream, step into it. Create the vision, feel the excitement, step into it and, in the words of Captain Picard, ‘Make it so!’

ROSEMARY’S EXPLORATION: Step Into Your Bodacious Dream!

Everybody has a dream. It might be a big dream or a little dream. It might even be an escape from something painful. It could be a dream founded on a ‘what if’ thought.

We ask little children what they want to be when they grow up. Firefighter. Veterinarian. Teacher. Doctor. They have a dream. Most of them change the answer to that question many times before they choose a career but there’s always an answer, a dream.

As an adult, you might feel trapped in the reality of where you are now and a ‘dream’ seems like a luxury you can’t afford. Or you might have a dream but it is a small, easily achievable one that won’t challenge you to grow.

Remember when you were little and the sky really WAS the limit? I wanted to work on the NASA space program. That was my dream. I went to college, majored in Mathematics, worked for the Department of Defense for 14 years and THEN I went to work on NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope! I did it!

I met Senators and Congressional Representatives, famous folks like Carl Sagan and Tom Clancy, astronauts – a dream come true. There were astronomers from around the world working with me. I got to travel – to Paris, to Huntsville, Alabama. (OK, Huntsville wasn’t a part of my big dream!) And there I was in my dream.

I was only in my 40s and, yet, the dream was realized. What then?

It was time to create an even bigger dream.

I felt the call to become a Spiritual Healer. Not exactly what every Math major dreams of! But I followed through, studied different modalities, explored my gifts, and changed careers in midlife. I became a Spiritual Healer and Medium. And helping people is much more rewarding that meeting Senators and having a glamorous job about which I could preen and brag. MUCH more rewarding!

NOW I dream big. I reach for the sky in a different way. I travel to meet up with clients and share my gifts. I am living my Purpose and I am constantly being called to reach out to more people, to share in a bigger way. The Dream keeps expanding.

What is YOUR STORY? Have you realized the dreams you had as a child? Have you dared to dream big dreams as an adult? Where is your life now with respect to your dreams?

And how BIG are those dreams?

It becomes an easy thing to shrink our dreams as we experience life because it seems too challenging or, sometimes, even too dangerous, to follow that dream. But in the 21st Century we don’t have the luxury of dreaming small anymore.

This is a time for each individual to show up for their Soul Purpose and LIVE BIG! The Planet and the rest of us need for you to show up in your Purpose. Even if it is scary, Dream Big.

And when you have created your Bodacious Big Dream, step into it. Create the vision, feel the excitement, step into it and, in the words of Captain Picard, ‘Make it so!’

ROSEMARY’S INSPIRATION: What’s Your Bodacious Wish?

Rosemary’s “Two-Minute” Video for this Week: What’s Your Bodacious Wish?

Big Dreams, Joyful Exertion

February 14, 2014 1 comment

In yesterday’s post and my commentary on Rosemary’s message on big wishes and dreams, I revealed my big dream for the year to attend the 2014 Kalachakra Initiation event offered by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Ladakh, India. It is a dream I am visualizing and in one way or another working on every day.

One of my practices this year is to work with a card deck, CD and DVD published by Sounds True called Living Wisdom with His Holiness The Dalai Lama. The cards are photos of His Holiness taken over the years by Don Farber. There are six sets of cards for the Six Transcendent Perfections with guidance on the Perfections from His Holiness on the reverse side from the photos.

The Transcendent Perfections are Generosity, Ethics, Patience, Joyful Exertion, Meditative Concentration and Wisdom. I draw a card each day after my “Morning Pages” and meditation. And the Perfection of the day is always right on the mark for what I need to hear and learn!

Yesterday was no exception. After writing my post the day before, I thought about the effort I’m putting into this Kalachakra Initiation Project I have set for myself. I wrote about that in my pages and then drew a card, The Transcendent Perfection of Joyful Exertion! And here’s His Holiness’ phrase that jumped out at me:

In spiritual matters, we should not allow ourselves to be too easily content, because truly there is no limit to our spiritual potential.

He goes on to say the only limit is to our lives. The real meaning of Joyful Exertion is to continue to explore, to search and seek the truth in all matters Spiritual; it is a life-long pursuit.

Practicing Six Session Guru Yoga as part of my work on my Big Dream is not an easy undertaking. Getting in three sessions during the day and three during the night means getting up in the middle of the night, sleep, to sit and practice. Yesterday morning at 4:00 am, falling snow not yet changed to rain, I wondered if I could continue. When I drew the card and read the words: “no limit to our spiritual potential” I received my answer. And for the remainder of the day my practice, my exertion, was joyful!

There is a Zen evening Gatha (prayer) that comes to mind:

Let me respectfully remind you,
Life and death are of supreme importance.
Time swiftly passes by and opportunity is lost.
Each of us should strive to awaken.
Awaken! Take heed!
Do not squander your lives….

How deep can you go, spiritually? His Holiness says there is no bottom to the depth of exploration. The only limit is the shortness of our lives.

I do not intend to “squander” my life! How about you?
